Role Description


Our team is looking for a Senior Analyst to analyze the Latin American solar PV market. This role involves analysis of the regional solar PV market, writing reports, aggregating and summarizing project-level datasets, communicating with key industry stakeholders, tracking the regional solar market activity, and forecasting installation volumes and pricing trends.

The Senior Analyst will conduct original quantitative and qualitative research on the market and deliver analysis through written reports, public speaking, addressing customer inquiries, custom research engagements, and consulting projects. He/ she is expected to correspond with, present to, and advise main stakeholders within the Latin American solar industry on analysis regarding the solar power landscape and general market dynamics.

This position requires the ability to work independently, generate ideas, and leverage industry networks to provide in-depth analysis of industry trends and innovative market dynamics.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for all analysis relating to the Latin American solar PV market.
  • Own and be the project lead on regional and global research products: produce in-depth reports analyzing Latin American solar PV market trends.
  • Contribute to the global quarterly solar power market outlook by producing an annual installation forecast for the Latin American region over a 10-year period.
  • Liaise on an ongoing basis with the regional Research Analysts and the broader Power & Renewables team to ensure the timely and accurate provision of all relevant data, analyses, and forecasts for all research publications.
  • Collaborate with other analysts globally to leverage best practices across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts in the Latin America region to get on-the-ground intelligence on market happenings.
