We are seeking a highly skilled Post-Doctoral Researcher in Industrial Engineering and Computer Science to join our research team. This position offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects related to offshore production chains, knowledge representation techniques, and environmental parameters.
The selected candidate will contribute to the development of mathematical tools for quantitative assessment of greenhouse gas emissions along production chains. This involves conducting case studies to test and evaluate developed systems and assisting in supervising technical training scholarship holders responsible for system development.
Responsibilities
- Develop a conceptual description of offshore production chains through knowledge representation techniques.
- Design and implement mathematical tools for assessing greenhouse gas emissions.
- Conduct and support the implementation of case studies to test and evaluate developed systems.
- Supervise technical training scholarship holders engaged in system development.
Requirements
- PhD in Computing, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Electrical/Electronic/Industrial Engineering within the last seven years.
- Experience in knowledge representation, such as Ontologies or Metadata, and Python programming.
About the Position
This postdoctoral research opportunity is open to candidates from diverse backgrounds. The selected researcher will receive a competitive fellowship and a research contingency fund to support their project.
