Job Overview

An exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Field Support Engineer, utilizing your knowledge of control theory, electronics and software design to bring hydraulic machines to life. The role involves assisting in-house testing, site commissioning and troubleshooting.

As a Field Support Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Troubleshooting computer controlled machines in the field.
  • Learning about control system theory, closed and open loop solutions and their implementations in software.
  • Using high level and scripting languages to commission graphical user interfaces for machine operation and visualization.
  • Troubleshooting computer controlled system hardware and sensors.
  • Integrating distributed controls using industrial networks.
  • Becoming an expert on Bosch Rexroth brand programmable and configurable electronics.
  • Collaborating with engineering and sales teams to optimize hydraulic machine performance.
  • Providing support on control issues at customer sites.
Key Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in software debugging, electrical and machine troubleshooting.
  • The ability to read technical drawings and perform test and measurement of control systems.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
