Job Summary

We are seeking a Trade Marketing Category Specialist to join our team. This is a key role in the development of the Category, responsible for developing national category plans that include visibility strategy by brand and price promotions calendar.

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in trade marketing or a related field, with a strong understanding of category concepts, analytical and technical skills, stakeholders management, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Category and Shopper Understanding: Develop a strong category and shopper understanding based on different sources such as trainings, surveys, market data, etc.
  • Category Plan: Coordinate category plan for the brands aligned with consumer activities, visibility and price promotions to develop the Kinder Kids category with actions for its segments in a sustainable way.
  • Business Monitoring: Monthly detailed performance analysis using sources such as Nielsen, Sell-Out, Distribution, Stocks, My Perfect Store; identify opportunities and develop action plans with Channel and RTM Managers.
  • S&OP: Build annual volumes with Marketing through targets calculation and alignment; use Business Monitoring and Post-Mortems to compare actuals vs. plans and recalculate YTG, ensuring plan accuracy.
  • POSM Development: Develop Temporary and Permanent POS Material ensuring strong brand and shopper communication and appropriate product solutions for different retail environments.
  • Category Insights: Develop Selling Stories and Arguments to support Events, Innovations, and Special Executions using category and shopper understanding.
  • Promotions Management: Monthly control of promotion investment versus plan, ensuring correct phasing and utilization.
  • Project Management: PMO of the Easter event ensuring governance, communication, and alignment; deliver on-time execution.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in trade marketing or a related field
  • Superior degree in ADM / Engineering / Communication / Advertising / Marketing
  • Strong knowledge of category concepts, analytical and technical skills, stakeholders management, and project management
