Job Title:

Analytical Materials Specialist

This role involves providing technical expertise in statistical analysis to support quality improvement initiatives within the organization.

  • Serve as a liaison between the Quality Department and other departments in matters involving statistical data interpretation.
  • Develop and implement schedules for regular capability studies on critical equipment.
  • Establish protocols for conducting regular Gage R&Rs on inspection, test, assembly staff.
  • Support Lean activities through design and analysis of experiments and validation of data from process improvement projects.
  • Enhance technical support within the Quality Department in the use of statistical tools.
  • Drive focus on corrective action and continuous improvement through the use of statistical data.
  • Serve as a liaison between the plant and the Global Quality Analyst with respect to standardized process evaluations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or in Mathematics/Statistics and 3 years experience in electronics manufacturing in a quality or manufacturing engineering.
  • Master degree Mathematics/Statistics and Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Meetings regarding discussion of failure analysis with suppliers and customers.
  • Monitoring of Performance Indicators/Presentation of indicators related to suppliers.
  • Rooting Cause Analysis / Containment, Preventive and Corrective Actions.
  • Acknowledgment of steps during failure analysis along with supplier and production.
  • Presentation of Data in Meeting.
  • Participation in Risk Mitigation and Change Management.
  • Preparation of Reports for Client related to Suppliers.
  • Interpretation of Client Requirements and Execution of Implementation of these in Jabil Process.
