Job Title: Accessibility Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Accessibility Specialist to join our team in Brazil. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our digital products meet high accessibility standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Agile software development teams to implement modifications to digital products and ensure compliance with accessibility standards.
  • Develop and refine accessibility testing and reporting templates, protocols, and tools.
  • Contribute to research literature, practice guides, and instructional materials on accessibility best practices.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree or certification in a relevant technical area.
  • No less than 1-3 years of experience in Information Technology, preferably with Assistive Technology.
  • Knowledge of WCAG 2.x Principles, Guidelines, Success Criteria, and Sufficient Techniques.
  • Experience with WCAG Compliance test scripts and reporting of test results.
  • Knowledge of Inspection/Testing tools and ability to demonstrate testing acumen.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including effective communication, teamwork, time management, and analytical thinking.
