We are seeking a skilled Internal Auditor to join our team at Nubank.
The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting risk assessments, control testing, and audits in the financial sector.
This role requires strong analytical skills, particularly in governance issues, as well as excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading audit fieldwork, engaging with stakeholders, and providing timely updates on regulatory changes.
- Lead audit fieldwork, focusing on Governance and Regulatory topics.
- Engage with stakeholders from the first and second lines of defense to discuss audit findings and monitor issue implementation.
- Coordinate the collection of information, prepare, and review responses to regulatory inquiries sent to the Internal Audit.
- Monitor key regulatory changes and provide timely support to the Internal Audit team.
- Contribute to Internal Audit's strategic projects.
- Perform data analysis to identify unmitigated risks and evaluate control efficiency.
Key qualifications include:
- Previous experience in audit, preferably in the financial or fintech sector.
- Strong understanding of Brazil's regulatory environment, including familiarity with local bodies such as the Central Bank of Brazil and CVM.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments and control testing.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to perform in-depth analysis, particularly related to governance issues.
- Demonstrated willingness to share knowledge and contribute to the improvement of the team's technical skills.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to collaborate effectively with different stakeholders.
