Software Tester

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Test Engineer to join our team. This role requires expertise in designing and executing manual and automated test strategies for web, mobile, and desktop applications in an Agile environment.

• Develop, maintain, and optimize automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Perform exploratory, sanity, smoke, regression, and integration testing; log and track defects in the defect management system.
• Conduct backend database testing in Microsoft SQL, validating stored procedures, jobs, and triggers.
• Create clear, reproducible bug reports and assist the Support team in reproducing client-reported issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables meet functional and design specifications throughout the SDLC.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with automation testing using Playwright and TypeScript, as well as strong skills in executing manual test cases. Experience working with SQL databases is also essential.

This role involves creating clear, reproducible bug reports and assisting the Support team in reproducing client-reported issues. The successful candidate will be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables meet functional and design specifications throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Broad understanding of quality control and testing within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role. Strong attention to detail and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field are also necessary.
