Job Title: Data Analyst Specialist

The Data Scientist 2 is responsible for understanding business needs and goals. Leveraging statistical methods and tools, they interpret data and extract insights that support decision-making.

This role requires collaboration and performance of moderate to complex analytical experiments. Analyzing data for trends and patterns, the candidate interprets data with clear objectives in mind.

Closely working with the engineering team, the ideal candidate develops data deliverables for business consumption. They adhere to and enhance data visualization best practices.

Collecting, analyzing, manipulating and aggregating data from various sources is crucial. Developing basic to moderate algorithms and models to perform data and error analysis is also a key requirement.

The successful candidate will report on findings and make recommendations. Summarizing analyses into clear, concise and effective presentations is necessary.

Providing training and guidance on how to interpret and apply data is another important responsibility. Assisting with special projects as assigned and performing data integrity audits are also part of this role.

Developing, documenting and tracking metrics and/or dashboards is essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Fluent in English
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 Years Experience as a Data Scientist / Statistician
  • Demonstrated success in performing analyses
  • Good oral and written communications skills
  • Good organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Good collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills
  • Good facilitation and project management skill
  • Good data gathering, interviewing and analytical/problem solving skills
  • Good critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Advanced understanding of statistics and modeling approaches
  • Advanced understanding of chart selection and finer details of readability, interpretation and presentation
