Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Community Liaison to provide support services for key events with the US Army Corps of Engineers. This role involves collaborating closely with an Outreach Team to ensure operational excellence and mission success.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Contributes to planning and executing events such as ceremonies, community meetings, and charettes.
  • Assists event leads with logistical tasks including venue booking, scheduling, material preparation, and vendor coordination.
  • Provides on-site support during events, offering setup, registration, and attendee assistance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in public speaking and engaging diverse audiences effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for data collection and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong written, oral, and computer skills to facilitate effective communication.
  • Highly creative and self-motivated individual.
Candidates Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in outreach, community engagement, or a related field.
