Product Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our organization and help drive data-informed decisions across our in-house mobile application products.

This individual will play a critical role in analyzing user behavior, evaluating feature performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high quality data insights. The ideal candidate will have a blend of creative vision, technical know-how, and exceptional organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Insights

  • Extract, clean, and analyze data using SQL and Python to understand product performance, user behavior, and business trends
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to monitor product health and performance
  • Provide actionable recommendations to product managers and leadership teams

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, QA's, User Acquisition, and Design teams to translate business requirements into analytical solutions
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify key metrics and measure the success of product initiatives
  • Support A/B testing and experimentation frameworks to validate hypotheses and inform product decisions
  • Analyze experiment results and recommend next steps for product improvements
  • Leverage mobile analytics platforms to track and evaluate app usage and retention metrics
  • Provide insights to optimize user journeys and improve mobile app engagement
  • Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups to align analytics work with product development priorities
  • Deliver insights in iterative cycles that align with Agile methodologies

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics)
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in data management/analysis within a SQL database (Preferred: Google BigQuery, Microsoft SQL Server, Amazon Redshift) with proven SQL and query writing skills
  • Experience in Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes
  • Experience collecting and analyzing data and reporting results using Excel or a statistical software package
  • Demonstrated ability to extract and assimilate data from multiple sources and present analysis in a concise, actionable format
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis
  • Proven experience analyzing and interpreting data in a mobile app environment
  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks and working in iterative development cycles
  • Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with R for statistical modeling or advanced analytics is a plus
