Elementary Head Teacher Position

As an Elementary Head Teacher at our school, you will be responsible for guiding children's learning experiences, promoting activities tailored to their individual needs, and ensuring that they meet our high academic standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach classes and lead children's learning;
  • Demonstrate thorough understanding of our pedagogical approach and implement strategies to ensure learning expectations are met;
  • Analyze students' progress, address individual needs, and develop plans to improve performance;
  • Develop strategies with coordination to enhance student engagement and improvement;
  • Implement differentiation strategies for students with learning difficulties;
  • Supervise Teaching Assistants in adapting activities for students with special educational needs;
  • Ensure student safety and observe students during activities to prevent accidents;
  • Identify signs of illness or behavioral issues and take appropriate actions;
  • Report student behaviors and performance to the coordinator and inform families;
  • Manage student handovers at entrance and exit, ensuring safety;
  • Adhere to school policies and ensure Teaching Assistants do the same;
  • Prepare and review weekly lesson plans and display them visibly;
  • Maintain accurate student records and prepare report cards;
  • Guide the Teaching Assistant on classroom materials and organization;
  • Communicate with parents about student development;
  • Participate in professional development activities;
  • Manage classroom materials and student records;
  • Report daily occurrences related to students to the coordination;
  • Share relevant student information with colleagues;
  • Meet deadlines for reports and documentation;
  • Ensure safety regarding allergies and special diets;
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by superiors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field;
  • Proven experience in teaching and leadership roles;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Familiarity with educational technologies and tools;
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
