We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our IT team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the planning, design, implementation, and sustainability of a secure network infrastructure with a focus on Core Network components and WAN Network components across our global facilities.
- Design and implement next-generation network solutions, including Software Defined Network, Cloud Network Infrastructure, and Automation of Network Services.
- Analyze emerging network technologies and propose updated solutions based on business requirements and industry trends.
- Configure existing network solutions to meet or exceed business requirements, adhering to documented standards.
- Collaborate with the Network Operations and Delivery teams to ensure their success in delivering global network solutions.
- Document new network solutions to facilitate deployment and ongoing support by the Network Operations and Delivery teams.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to plan and execute network-related projects.
- Establish relationships with key networking vendors to stay informed about current and upcoming technologies.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues at the 3rd level.
- Bachelor's degree in IT-related field or equivalent experience (eight years' experience in Network/IT Infrastructure roles acceptable)
- At least five years of experience supporting a global network environment
- Demonstrated expertise with TCP/IP, subnetting, DNS, and DHCP
- Experience troubleshooting, implementing, and configuring mixed Internet/MPLS WAN environments, routing protocols, switching, wireless, and firewall technologies (e.g., Cisco, Arista, Palo Alto)
- Working knowledge of network security technologies, protocol analysis, and troubleshooting using various tools and equipment for root cause determination
- Experience with technical crisis and major incident management
- Experience with change advisory board procedures
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
- CCNP certification or equivalent/higher
- Experience with Azure networking items such as Vnet & NSG
- Experience deploying and supporting Arista, Palo Alto Firewall, VeloCloud SD-WAN, Meraki, and Cisco DNA Center/Catalyst Center environments
- Demonstrated capability in network scripting and programming/automation space, including API programming, Python, Ansible, GIT, and Linux
- Experience building relationships and working in a collaborative, matrix-driven, global environment
