Category Lead

We are seeking an experienced Category Lead to drive business growth and improve customer experience. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies that meet or exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and managing seller recruitment teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Effectively prioritizing and managing a pipeline of sellers to consistently meet/exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborating with new merchants to educate them on Amazon's high standards of delivery and customer experience.
  • Identifying and acquiring sellers/manufacturers who can bring the right kind of selection and brands to the category.
  • Driving innovation aimed at improving customer experience, scaling categories non-linearly, and strengthening seller/manufacturer relationships.
  • Providing data-driven insights and advice to optimize sellers' success on Amazon.
  • Working cross-functionally with central company-wide teams in Technology, Operations, and Merchant Services to establish and optimize processes.

**Basic Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Demonstrated excellent business discernment with strong written and oral communication skills, and ability to persuade.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in buying.
