This position is ideal for someone who has a passion for innovation, a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, and excellent communication skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to design, develop, and launch new power connector and cable assembly products for data center applications. They will work closely with customers, sales, and project managers to gather and evaluate voice of customer (VOC) data and make informed decisions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing innovative power connector and cable assembly products
  • Collaborating with global teams to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of projects
  • Managing the entire product development lifecycle, from customer insights to product end-of-life
  • Conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify innovation opportunities
  • Developing and managing product documentation, including requirements, design, and testing plans
  • Coordinating with manufacturing, procurement, and suppliers to meet technical, quality, and cost objectives
  • Identifying and qualifying new components and technologies with suppliers
  • Conducting design verification and validation testing to ensure specifications are met
  • Mentoring junior engineers and technicians

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • At least 10 years of product development experience, with 5+ years in cable assembly or connector-related roles
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles
  • Experience with product development, testing, and compliance certification
  • Proficiency in design for manufacturing and cost optimization
  • Ability to work independently and in global, multidisciplinary teams
