Job Description

Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, hardware, and peripherals. Document and upgrade hardware and software systems. Support user account information including rights, security, and systems groups.

  • Field incoming help requests from end users via telephone and work orders in a courteous manner.
  • Document all pertinent end user identification information.
  • Prioritize and schedule problems, escalating when required.
  • Record and track the help desk request problem-solving process.
  • Apply diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting.

Identify and learn software and hardware used by the organization. Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Extensive application support experience.
  • Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities.
  • Good understanding of organizational goals and objectives.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills with a focus on rapport-building and questioning skills.

Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with exceptional customer service orientation. Experience working in a team-oriented environment.
