Human Resources Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a Human Resources Supervisor to join our team. As an HR leader, you will play a key role in executing recruitment and selection, employee relations, work life balance improvement projects, maximizing partner morale, wage and benefit changes, safety improvements, training and development, labor/union relations, policy administration, and regulatory compliance related to employment.

The successful candidate will be part of a larger Human Resources & Operations team who collaborate to meet business objectives. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take their HR career to the next level.

  • Recruit, hire, and onboard new hires
  • Represent Human Resources in cross-functional plant projects to ensure operations needs are met
  • Administer policies and make recommendations on procedural or policy improvement opportunities
  • Performance management
  • Partner (employee) relations
  • Administer internal job transfers through all internal systems and local regulations
  • Execute and develop partner training programs
  • HR process improvement
  • Collaborate with the HR leadership to lead partners and collaborate with the Operations and Commercial teams effectively
  • Work with the HR Team Leader to implement staffing and work force planning initiatives
  • Communicate HR policies, compensation, benefits, and other HR initiatives to partners
  • Collaborate with HR and Operations leadership teams in order to improve standard policies, processes, and the overall partner experience
  • Maintain partner and position information in HR Systems including Workday
  • Keep abreast of local regulatory and compliance changes and communicate to leadership
