About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Energy Storage Sales Manager to join our team at Trina Solar. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing business opportunities for our Energy Storage systems.

Main Responsibilities
  • Identify key opportunities in assigned regions and drive adoption and acceptance of Trina Storage products and services.
  • Execute sales plans to penetrate target accounts at all levels, collaborating with internal stakeholders to support and engage customers.
  • Design, develop, and implement sales plans in assigned regions, delivering budgetary and fixed proposals for customers.
  • Liaise between customers and Sales Engineering teams, managing entire selling processes from forecasting to actual product delivery and payment collection.
  • Maintain keen awareness of competitor products and offerings, enabling Trina Storage's continued differentiation and new product development.
  • Represent Trina Storage at industry conferences, tradeshows, and other events, fully supporting the transition from sales to program management and customer support teams.
  • Ensure effective reporting of all activities under managed accounts to the Head of Storage LAC on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis as required.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' progressive experience selling complex technical systems and solutions.
  • Keen understanding of the electric and energy storage industries, with renewable energy experience desirable.
  • Team-oriented approach with an eagerness to continuously collaborate and support.
  • Demonstrated track record of exceptional problem-solving and strategic thinking.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including listening, verbal, and written; strong presentation skills.
  • Active experience managing key customer relationships with the proven ability to close deals.
  • Prior experience working with Utilities, Microgrid solution providers, Developers, IPPs, Integrators, and EPC firms.
  • Solid understanding of relevant industry codes and regulatory requirements.
  • Working knowledge of MS applications such as Excel, Word, and PP; as well as CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Ability to travel between 20-35%.
Language Skills

Fluent written and spoken language skills in English and Spanish are required, with any additional language skills being a plus.
