Inventory Lead

Kapsch TrafficCom América Latina is a leading provider of intelligent transportation systems. We are seeking an experienced Inventory Lead to join our team and drive our inventory management processes forward.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all inventory-related issues and needs.
  • Maintain an accurate system to track inventory levels in each stocking location and ensure timely recording of movements.
  • Implement and maintain processes and procedures related to global inventory management policies to ensure compliance.
  • Interface with the Projects and Operational procurement team to facilitate the reassignment of surplus inventory, creating cost savings through cost avoidance.
  • Coordinate and perform intercompany shipments between stock locations.
  • Work with the PMO to identify slow-moving or obsolete items and take appropriate actions to reduce excess inventory.
Reporting:
  • Develop and distribute reporting on regional trends in inventory.
  • Conduct regular meetings with regional leadership to review inventory reporting, including sales lines shipped not invoiced, overdue sales lines, aging inventory, surplus inventory, etc.
Auditing:
  • Coordinate, schedule, and manage Cycle Count Audit Results (Quarterly, Full Inventory, ending FY) to identify discrepancies and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory data.
  • Be the key interface for the annual external inventory audits.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve inventory management processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Your Profile:
  • Solid experience in inventory, logistics, and warehousing, with a focus on purchasing and supply chain.
  • Technical studies, preferably in Administration, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
  • Advanced level of Excel and ERP management, preferably with Navition.
  • Upper intermediate or higher level of English.
