The Engineering System Administrator serves as a key liaison for large accounts, facilitating the creation of digital twins for Hilti Portfolio products within their selected plant design software. Based in a regional project management office, this role acts as a technical support specialist to the sales team during the acquisition of large projects and as a plant design administrator in the execution and support of large global projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Aligns project pipeline with regional PMO head and global plant design business owner.
- Supports construction project managers and business developers by explaining and demonstrating plant design offers (3D catalogues / libraries and smart plug-ins).
- Partners with customer's plant design administrators and model automation leads to ensure necessary testing and catalogue maintenance.
- Leads library and plug-in setup for Hilti and Oglaend modular supports, firestop, and cable management solutions.
- Provides single-point contact for challenges in catalogue installation and supports troubleshooting on SW versions.
- Trains customer modelers and designers on using libraries and plug-ins.
- Creates bespoke assemblies for customization required in projects or account-specific solutions.
- Internally trains sales and business development teams on plant design solutions and capabilities.
- Documents customer-facing activities in Salesforce and Clickup.
- Consolidates customer feedback on existing offer challenges and opportunities for improvement.
- Partners with development team to support testing and document feature requests.
- Degree in engineering-related disciplines or equivalent IT diploma.
- Experience with EPC, engineering consultant, contractors, and industry projects preferred.
- Solid experience in engineering systems administration (Aveva PDMS/E3D, Integraph SP3D, Bentley, Autodesk P3D).
- Good understanding of engineering practices & project execution concepts.
- Strong understanding of current engineering design, drafting applications, and engineering data integration software packages.
- Fluent in Portuguese, advanced English, intermediate Spanish.
- International business travel availability: 15 – 20%.
