Business Leader: Strategic Sourcing Role

  • Lead the development of sourcing strategies for grains and sugar categories.
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration with business units to understand processes, align strategies, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Participate in regional forums and events to stay informed about market trends and internal/external productivity.
  • Analyze financial and impact data on profit and loss statements.
  • Contribute to and evaluate strategies for bidding.
  • Develop and implement short, medium, and long-term strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships to connect interests.
  • Travel nationally and internationally to participate in events and conduct on-site business analyses.
  • Monitor key performance indicators impacting the company to inform decision-making.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Completed higher education degree.
  • Experience with direct purchases.
  • Experience in strategic sourcing or purchasing (desirable: strategic purchasing of grains and/or sugar).
  • Knowledge of finance principles.
  • Familiarity with the 7 steps of strategic sourcing.
  • Proficiency in English or Spanish.
  • Availability for national and international travel.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model (remote/hybrid) in Brazil, Argentina, or Mexico.
