  • We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data pipelines using Airflow.

You will play a key role in shaping our company's data infrastructure. Your focus will be on building and optimizing our data warehouse, ensuring that every solution you build delivers clarity and impact. You will work closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to design scalable, reliable, and high-quality data systems that become the foundation for insights and decision-making across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Airflow.
  • Develop data models across our architecture layers to support analytics and reporting.
  • Optimize SQL queries for large datasets in AWS Athena and other relational systems.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and BI workflows using Metabase.
  • Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Analytics teams to define key metrics and KPIs.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and reproducibility across the data warehouse/lake.
  • Establish best practices for data engineering and analytics.
Your Background

To succeed in this role, you will need a strong background in data engineering or a related field. You should have experience working with Airflow, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and data modeling tools. Additionally, you will need excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
  • Strong SQL expertise with experience tuning queries and designing efficient schemas.
  • Hands-on experience with Airflow for workflow orchestration.
  • Familiarity with AWS services, especially Athena, S3, and Glue.
  • Experience building analytics dashboards with Metabase or similar BI tools.
  • Understanding of our architecture and layered data pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of key metrics and how to translate them into analytics workflows.
  • Proficiency in Python for data engineering and ETL tasks.
  • Collaborative and able to work cross-functionally with product and business teams.
