Senior Manager Accounting Position

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager to oversee the financial management of our international subsidiaries. This mid-senior level position requires a Full-time commitment with a focus on Accounting/Auditing and Finance within the Telecommunications, Real Estate, and Construction industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of the financial statement close for the international subsidiaries.
  • Management of internal reporting functions, including financial statements, consolidations, and monthly packages.
  • Process improvement initiatives to streamline closing and internal reporting.
  • Preparation of financial analysis on a monthly basis.
  • Assistance in annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process.
  • Overseeing Quarterly reviews and Year-end audit.
  • Cordination with local Finance Managers and their teams as well as local Accounting firms.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Collaboration with Talent Acquisition to recruit, select, hire, and employ high-performing team members.
  • Providing oversight and direction to team members in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Coaching, mentoring, and developing team members, including overseeing new team member onboarding and providing career development planning and growth opportunities.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bilingual English/Portuguese required for Portuguese speaking countries.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field; accounting experience; public company and public accounting firm experience, Real Estate/ Property Management or construction accounting experience preferred.
  • Experience in managing people and/or processes with demonstrated knowledge and understanding of managerial duties in staffing, training, and development, performance management, and employee relations.
  • International travel.
  • Valid Government Issued Driver's License.
  • Valid Government Issued Passport.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Valid CRC required (For Brazil only).
