Position Overview:
Lubrizol is in search of a seasoned marketing manager to join our Americas LZA Marketing team. This position entails close collaboration with the LATAM regional business and sales teams for Lubrizol Additives to devise, implement, and assess marketing strategies that inform, inspire, and engage both internal and external stakeholders with Lubrizol's mission, strategy, and values.
This role is integrated within the Americas Marketing team, which works in conjunction with a broader global Marketing Communications team to execute regional marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven track record in developing and executing marketing strategies, managing marketing plan components, and supporting the regional team while focusing on global themes and initiatives.
This position is based out of our LATAM Headquarters and reports to the regional marketing manager for the Americas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Marketing Development: Formulate, implement, and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with global objectives for Lubrizol additives in the Latin America region. Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials.
- Content Creation: Generate engaging and localized content for various marketing platforms, including social media, websites, blogs, and email campaigns. Tailor global content to resonate with local markets and cultural nuances.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer insights, and competitor activities within the Latin America region. Utilize data analysis to assess marketing campaign effectiveness and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Media Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with local media outlets and journalists to secure coverage and press releases. Collaborate with global PR teams to ensure consistent messaging.
- Event Coordination: Organize and execute regional marketing events, trade shows, and conferences, overseeing logistics, booth design, and collateral creation.
- Digital Marketing Initiatives: Develop and implement digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, social media advertising, and email marketing campaigns. Monitor digital analytics to optimize campaigns for maximum return on investment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside various teams, including product management, sales, and marketing communications leadership, to align marketing strategies and ensure cohesive messaging.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Over 7 years of experience in marketing, sales, or commercial/product management, ideally in both B2C and B2B environments.
• Experience in the lubricant industry and/or OEM knowledge is a plus.
• Proficiency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese is required.
• Extensive experience in project management and marketing plan execution.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build credibility within the organization.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with a focus on simplifying complex information.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative thinking and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel regionally and potentially globally.
