About the Role

As a Capital Project Specialist, you will lead evaluations and consulting for major mining companies. Your responsibilities will include interfacing directly with clients to collect project data, conducting research on the drivers of project success and failure, and delivering verbal feedback and presentations to technical and business audiences. You will also work closely with capital project teams to improve business competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collecting and analyzing technical, cost, schedule, and project management data from clients
  • Conducting research on the drivers of project success and failure using proprietary databases and statistics
  • Delivering verbal feedback and presentations to technical and business audiences
  • Working closely with capital project teams to improve business competitiveness

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrable language skills in Portuguese and English, with fluency in Spanish an advantage
  • Solid analytical skills, including ability to collect and analyze data
  • Excellent listening, presentation, and report writing skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to develop and maintain relationships at senior levels
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Flexibility in taking on a variety of assignments

Travel

This role requires travel up to 30% of each month, primarily within Latin America. You will be required to have proper documentation for necessary business travel.
