IT Data Architect Role Overview:

In today's fast-paced digital landscape, data architecture plays a vital role in shaping the future of healthcare. As an IT Data Architect for our Healthineers Data Cloud, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data solutions that drive business growth and improve patient outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Act as Data Architect for our global Healthineers Data Cloud landscape and related topics
- Clarify technical requirements for analytical problems (focus on data integration and modeling) and consult with IT services
- Develop and implement data provisioning requests, including data integration, views, and flows
- Proactively identify and implement improvements to maintain optimal system performance
- Think about the 'big picture,' considering end-to-end processes and identifying cross-topic dependencies

**Ideal Candidate:**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Strong technical expertise in working with DB technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Oracle, Hadoop, MS-SQL etc.), data integration methods (e.g., ODBC, CDC, and ETL), data catalog tools (e.g., Informatica EDC /Axon, Collibra) and data architecture concepts (Data Vault 2.0)
- Experienced working in international and interdisciplinary IT-related projects
- Familiarity with and understanding of compliance requirements as they pertain to IT projects in the healthcare industry
