At Iqtalent, we are seeking a highly skilled QA/QC Engineer to join our team in Basra, Iraq. As a QA/QC Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement Inspection & Test Plans to ensure timely delivery of client projects.
- Attend client kick-off meetings and prepare project plans to meet quality requirements.
- Determine the quality requirements for components and ensure they meet Sulzer and customer standards.
- Support manufacturing and assembly activities to ensure quality processes are followed.
- Generate drawings and documents as required to support quality processes.
- Deal with queries from purchasing/suppliers regarding quality requirements.
- Provide input to partnership suppliers reviews on quality of items received.
- Prepare documents for customer review and respond to comments.
- Develop Assembly Review Sheets and attend project assembly review meetings.
- Update Assembly Review Sheets based on feedback received.
- Develop quality procedures and ensure all processes are completed within Sulzer and industry standards.
- Undertake Certification Review and coordinate External Inspections as required.
- Undertake material releases and ensure familiarity with environmental aspects and impacts of activities and processes.
- Reporting on the performance of the quality management system and opportunities for improvement.
- University Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Relevant experience within Oil&Gas industry.
- Knowledge of quality processes and procedures.
- Experience with Rotating Machinery such as pumps, compressors and turbines.
- CAD experience.
- Reverse Engineering experience.
- Organisation skills.
- Customer service skills.
- Ability to act independently.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to change.
- Attention to detail.
- General computer skills.
Rotation basis (4 weeks on / 4 weeks off) in Basra, Iraq.
