We are seeking a highly skilled economic strategist to join our organization in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
About the Role- Capable of framing and synthesizing complex economic data for executive presentations
- Involved in designing strategy for monetization of assets through creative financial modeling and analysis
- Develops comprehensive economic models to inform investment decisions and support business growth
- Assesses growth strategies in assets (core or infrastructure) in mergers and acquisitions and new business development processes across various corporate areas
- Creates economic models and drives asset value creation through informed decision-making
- Analyzes economic metrics and generates actionable insights to drive business results
- Models risks and opportunities to projects using deterministic and probabilistic approaches
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to structure and participate in commercial negotiations
- Must have legal authorization to work in Brazil on a full-time basis
- Bachelor's degree or master's degree in finance, administration, or accounting
- CFA certification is desirable
- Postgraduate or MBA degree is desirable
- Knowledge of digital platforms such as Power BI is essential
- Experience in project evaluation, corporate finance, M&A, and NBD, as well as business planning and financial planning/accounting
- Skill in valuation and economic modeling is crucial
- Experience working with the value chain in the energy sector and oil and gas is beneficial
- Able to demonstrate autonomy, teamwork, leadership, and communication skills
