The Cavell Hospital, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a dedicated Medical Practitioner - Perioperative Care Specialist to join their team. As a vital member of the perioperative care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in the operating theatre and recovery areas.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary of £38,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, with opportunities for career progression and professional development.
Job DescriptionAs a Medical Practitioner - Perioperative Care Specialist, you will work under the direction of the Theatre Manager to provide nursing care in the perioperative setting. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Organising and providing nursing care in the perioperative setting;
- Supporting the anaesthetic team to develop and maintain excellence in perioperative practice;
- Serving as a link between the anaesthetic team and other parts of the operating theatre and hospital;
You will be expected to adhere to the NMC/HCPC code at all times and demonstrate commitment to quality patient care through effective team working.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Honorary HCPC registration;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
