We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety and Health Professional to join our team at LHR Américas. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, clients, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate industrial incidents to identify root causes and develop corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Lead or facilitate Operational HSE risk assessments, utilizing recognized techniques such as HAZOP, Bow-tie, QRA, etc.
- Develop and audit Safety and environmental management systems, preferably certified lead auditor of ISO 45001.
- Bridge multi-stakeholder HSE management systems and develop emergency management systems for highly hazardous multi-site operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental science, or a related field.
- 10 years of related safety/operational experience and/or training in the oil and gas industry (preferably 3 years in offshore).
- Knowledge or training in occupational health, safety, and environmental compliance with applicable industry, governmental, and/or international standards.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and PC skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Skilled in the standards, concepts, practices, and procedures within the health, safety, and environmental fields.
- Knowledge of delivering hands-on health, safety, and environmental training.
- Ability to assist with developing, implementing, and coordinating comprehensive health and safety programs.
- Strong influencing and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work at pace as a Subject matter expert in complex and multi-stakeholder environments.
