Head of Commercial Opportunity

Join a leading international container shipping company in Brazil as the Head of Commercial, responsible for the day-to-day organization of Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Grow market share and revenue through effective sales and customer service strategies
  • Manage and develop the Sales and Customer Service teams
  • Travel to meet customers, develop business, and support the Sales Team
  • Implement standard operating procedures for the sales and customer service teams
  • Prepare a monthly marketing report and analyze cargo statistics
  • Monitor and drive performance improvements
Requirements:
  • 10-15 years of trade or sales and marketing experience in container/liner shipping
  • Previous experience as a Head of Commercial, Sales Director, Business Development Director, or Sales General Manager
  • Strong track record of growing market share and increasing revenue
  • General management experience and P/L exposure is advantageous
  • Excellent understanding of equipment management, port, and terminal operations
  • Fluency in both Portuguese and English
