Job Opportunity for a Project Analyst

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Project Analyst to join our team. As a Project Analyst, you will be responsible for coordinating logistics operations, ensuring smooth shipment implementation, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate overseas communications and anticipate needs in overnight correspondence
  • Coordinate between warehouses, truckers, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations and shipments implementation
  • Arrange trucking and intermodal movements and execute booking
  • Complete cargo assessment to determine the best possible method route to implement in cargo movement
  • Act as a single point of contact for a specific project
  • Follow up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates
  • Familiar with shipping cargo categorized as Dangerous Goods as LCL and FCL
  • Accurate, efficient preparation of all required paperwork for delay-free forwarding
  • Manage suppliers, sub-contractors, and third-party cargo handlers
  • Responsive and comprehensive customer service via phone and email
Requirements:
  • Successfully completed training in the field of freight forwarding, as well as work experience in the freight forwarding industry
  • Proven track record of successfully executed logistics operations, coordination, and management
  • Knowledge of preparing ocean export consolidations involving multiple shippers and pickup locations
  • Familiar with transporting OOG (out of gauge) cargo both over the road and via ocean and also INCOTERMS 2020
  • DG certification for ocean would be a plus
  • Good organizational skills, customer-focused with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Excellent communications skills (cross-functional and cross-cultural)
  • Fluent English skills, both written and verbal
