Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Drilling Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of drilling projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drilling and completions operations, with experience in supervising on-site activities, including tool preparations, data acquisition, log generation, and Quality Control (QC).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site supervision of the Measurement-While-Drilling (MWD) process, including tool preparations, data acquisition, log generation, and QC.
  • Serve as a second man in a subordinate role, assisting in ensuring that all data presented to clients is accurate, timely, and meets the highest service quality standard possible.
  • Assist in providing technical consultation to clients, including mud hydraulics, Bottom Hole Assembly (BHA) planning, formation evaluation, drilling tendencies, the mud system, and BHA dynamics.
  • Properly test all tools and equipment before, during, and after each job, identifying and correcting operational problems to prevent or minimize service impact.
  • Ensure BHAs are assembled as planned, including correct make-up torque, doping, and handling.
  • Be aware of client requirements regarding directional survey procedures.

Requirements

  • A strong background in drilling and completions operations, with experience in supervising on-site activities.
