About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test to join our team at Software Defined Automation GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the robustness and quality of our automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop application and system testing frameworks to ensure the quality of our automation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing scripts using Python and/or C# environments.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure that automation initiatives are aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify and report defects, and work with the development team to resolve them.
Requirements
  • Advanced/fluent English skills – Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing technologies.
  • Experience in both manual and automation testing (test automation tools and frameworks).
  • Experience with AWS.
  • Experience with Python and/or C# environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relational database knowledge - developing in the data layer and writing ad-hoc queries.
  • Experience in automation frameworks (such as Jenkins), and Infrastructure as Code (such as CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, Chef).
