Establish a robust compliance framework to align with regulatory requirements and drive risk management excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain effective internal controls to detect, prevent, and respond to compliance issues.
- Oversee anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CTF) frameworks, ensuring statutory representation before regulatory authorities.
- Design and implement the enterprise risk management framework, identifying operational, financial, and reputational risks.
- Supervise crisis response and business continuity protocols to safeguard client and business interests.
- Ensure client-facing materials and communications adhere to regulatory guidelines.
- Partner with senior leaders to foster a risk-aware and compliance-driven culture.
- Provide training, guidance, and resources on compliance and risk topics.
- Deliver regular updates to stakeholders on compliance performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Business, or Risk Management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs within financial services.
- Strong understanding of financial services laws, regulations, and requirements of relevant authorities.
- Must meet fit and proper criteria set by regulatory bodies.
- Demonstrated ability to liaise with regulatory authorities and handle regulatory reporting.
