Job Title: Clinical Research Nurse

Job Description:

The role of the Clinical Research Nurse is to ensure that clinical trials are conducted with the highest level of integrity and quality. This involves working closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) and other team members to oversee all aspects of the trial, from participant recruitment and enrollment to data collection and analysis.

As a Clinical Research Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to participants in the clinical research unit (CRU). This includes conducting thorough medical histories, performing physical examinations, and administering medications as needed.

In addition to providing direct patient care, you will also be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the trial are conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Institutional Review Board (IRB) approvals.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with experience in clinical research and/or a related field. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
  • At least 4 years of experience in clinical research or related field
  • Experience with Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems and Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
