Job Title: Tax Specialist - Financial Planning Expert

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tax Legislation Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of tax legislation to provide ongoing support for IT projects and stakeholders, handling ad hoc activities as they arise.
  • Manage Tax Benefits: Take ownership of tax benefit compliance, ensuring all requirements are met with precision and timeliness.
  • Drive Improvement Projects: Lead and execute improvement projects focused on tax reform, compliance, time efficiency, risk mitigation, and identifying opportunities for optimization.
  • Ensure Tax Compliance: Oversee the timely and accurate delivery of tax returns and payments. Drive innovation in compliance by leveraging tools like Tax Analyzer or Thomson Reuters to cross-check and validate reports efficiently.
  • Reconcile Tax Figures: Create precise journal entries and reconcile VAT tax figures monthly to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Generate Insights and Reports: Produce bi-weekly reports to monitor tax payment inconsistencies, track account activities (Conta Corrente), and deliver actionable tax business insights for improved decision-making.
  • Risk Assessment and Provisions: Collaborate with legal offices to evaluate risk assessments, review contingency reports, and always keep provisions up to date to ensure preventive measures are taken.
