Job Title:

Product Configuration Manager


Technical Requirements:
  • Expertise in Product Configuration Management or ability to learn quickly
  • Proficient with MS-Office Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Software development model and knowledge at a high level
  • Basic scripting (UNIX etc) knowledge is an added advantage
  • Prior experience handling PCM role for BSS products is highly desirable
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Highly developed administrative skills, good attitude, interpersonal skills required to be a team player
  • Ability to work independently as a self-starter
  • Ability to perform in a multi-tasking and team-oriented environment
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain product structures and control product archives content
  2. Interact with stakeholders and gather inputs for release activities
  3. Upload software packages to Software Gateway
  4. Send GOLS messages for releases and product security vulnerabilities
  5. Maintain SharePoint PLM page with SW deliverable information
  6. Ensure product release activities are followed, including PRIM updates
  7. Post commercial documents on Portfolio & Commerce Webpage for GA releases
  8. Prepare and publish portfolio bulletins for every release
  9. Prepare Release Notes for every release
  10. Update MHWeb with correct product version information
  11. Manage life cycle of third-party software used in product releases
  12. Create and own product packaging info documents
  13. Ensure compliance with 3PP related directives and processes
  14. Drive project decisions with consequences known for technical, legal/commercial, business impacts
  15. Use standard processes, procedures, and tools
