The compliance function plays a crucial role in ensuring that businesses operate within regulatory guidelines.

As a Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of the compliance program. Your primary objective will be to ensure alignment with local regulatory requirements and global compliance standards.

This role is pivotal in ensuring regulatory adherence while enabling business growth and operational efficiency. You will support regulatory engagement, help implement compliance policies and procedures, and ensure that day-to-day operations reflect strong compliance practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Regional Compliance Execution: Execute the compliance program for Brazil and other markets under the Brazilian license. Maintain effective relationships with local regulators, including supporting the preparation of regulatory submissions and inspections.
  • Business Advisory & Operational Support: Partner with internal stakeholders to provide compliance input on new initiatives and product changes. Ensure compliance processes are practical, risk-sensitive, and support operational scalability.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Solid experience in regulatory compliance within the financial services, payments, or fintech sectors.
  • Working knowledge of Brazil's regulatory environment, including relationships with local regulatory bodies such as the Central Bank of Brazil.
  • Ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements in a practical and business-friendly manner.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills across cross-functional teams.
