Business Development Lead

The Business Development team at Shopee is a dynamic and energetic group responsible for driving the company's growth. The goal of the team is to provide buyers with a wide variety of product listings at competitive prices.

We are seeking an innovative business leader to head the Strategic Projects team within our department. This team is responsible for delivering major initiatives that improve profitability, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate project portfolios
  • Manage stakeholders effectively
  • Plan and manage project schedules
  • IDentify and mitigate risks
  • Develop financial indicators and dashboards
  • Present projects to various forums, including C-level presentations
  • Lead or contribute to market and user research

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of PMO experience or management consulting background with knowledge of methodologies (PMI, Scrum, Agile)
  • Postgraduate degree in Project Management, Business, or related field (desirable)
  • Driven consumer growth and engagement in large consumer internet or advertising companies
  • Strong cross-functional leadership track record
  • Data-driven decision-making and logical thinking
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and can-do attitude
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Portuguese
