Ultrasound Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled ultrasound specialist to fill this key role. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing fetal examinations, assisting in invasive procedures, and reporting results of sonographic examinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all requested sonographic examinations as ordered by the attending physician.
  • Analyze data obtained using ultrasound and related diagnostic technologies.
  • Greet patients and explain ultrasound procedures, prepare patients for examination according to department policies.
  • Support patients and their families in a compassionate manner.
  • Verify accuracy of ultrasound requisition by checking physician's orders in the patient's medical record.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of an approved curriculum in diagnostic medical sonography or equivalent educational background.
  • Current registration (or Registry-eligible) by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Prefer one year prior OB experience or recent internship in obstetrics or MFM clinic.
