We are seeking a skilled Fetal Ultrasound Specialist to contribute to the overall success of our organization.

About the Role:

The Fetal Ultrasound Specialist will work under the direct supervision of a Physician and in collaboration with the healthcare team to perform various fetal examinations, assist in invasive procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort during ultrasound procedures.

This role requires an individual who specializes in high-risk obstetric imaging and is passionate about delivering exceptional prenatal care in a supportive and collaborative family-focused environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing sonographic examinations as ordered by the attending physician.
  • Acquiring and analyzing data obtained using ultrasound and related diagnostic technologies.
  • Meeting examination components as defined by Maternal-Fetal Medicine Division, department procedures, established protocols, and AIUM's examination guidelines.
  • Supporting patients and their families in a compassionate manner.

Requirements:

  • A successful completion of an approved curriculum in diagnostic medical sonography or equivalent educational background.
  • Current registration (or Registry-eligible) by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Prior OB experience or recent internship in obstetrics or MFM clinic preferred.

This full-time position offers a 4-day work week to promote work-life balance without compromising patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily operations of the sonographic laboratory, equipment performance, and clinical sonographic quality assessment.
