Ultrasound Specialist

The role of the Perinatal Sonographer is pivotal in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients.

This position requires the sonographer to possess exceptional technical skills and a deep understanding of fetal development, anatomy, and physiology.

Key responsibilities include performing ultrasound examinations, analyzing data, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

  • Perform various fetal examinations, including 1st trimester ultrasound, nuchal translucency measurement, and biophysical profiles.
  • Assist perinatologists in invasive procedures such as amniocentesis.
  • Provide accurate and comprehensive reports on ultrasound findings.

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain excellent communication skills.

Additional requirements include a strong foundation in obstetrics and gynecology, certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), and experience working in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Job Requirements
  • Diagnostic medical sonography degree or equivalent educational background.
  • Current registration (or Registry-eligible) by the ARDMS in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Minimum one year prior OB experience or recent internship in obstetrics or MFM clinic.
