This role is responsible for overseeing the project control activity globally, ensuring consistent functional specifications and common global processes for projects implementation. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting activities to better understand or ultimately meet the expectations of the customer. They will work closely with stakeholders to prepare technical offers for Electrical Balance of Plant (eBoP) and Protection systems. The job involves analyzing customer requirements and assessing alignment with the hydro portfolio in coordination with the Commercial Operations team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering or control engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in protection or power systems engineering. They will be fluent in written and spoken Portuguese and English, and have excellent oral and written communication skills. A strong technical aptitude, including proficiency with relevant engineering tools and systems, is also essential.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • ">
  • Acting as the focal point for the Commercial Team, participating in tendering strategy and planning">
  • Analyzing customer requirements and assessing alignment with the hydro portfolio">
  • Ensuring integration with other disciplines, coordinating interfaces and aligning on delivery dates to meet targets on time and with quality">
  • Preparing system architecture and single-line diagrams">
  • Preparing requests for quotation (RFQs) to be sent to suppliers">
  • Evaluating suppliers' technical offers">
  • Supporting the Commercial Team in customer-facing technical discussions and presentations">
  • Supporting global supply chain activities to ensure quality and fulfillment worldwide">
  • Driving innovation in the tendering process to improve delivery time, quality, and accuracy">
  • Prioritizing, planning, and executing tasks across multiple technical tenders simultaneously">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Control Engineering">
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in protection or power systems engineering">
  • Fluent in written and spoken Portuguese and English">
  • Strong technical aptitude, including proficiency with relevant engineering tools and systems">
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills">
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities">
  • Comfortable working in a global, matrixed team environment">
  • Solid planning and organizational skills">
  • Ability to deliver results in uncertain or dynamic scenarios">
  • Experience working with suppliers, OEMs, or customers">
  • Passion for contributing to innovative solutions, cost-reduction initiatives, and process improvements">
  • Strong decision-making skills with a customer-focused mindset">
