IMS System Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled IMS System Support Specialist to join our team. As an IMS System Support Specialist, you will be responsible for solving complex problems and identifying potential future issues across various platforms and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across various platforms and services
  • Work with clients in various industries, from banking to retail
  • Collaborate with a diverse group of talented people and gain invaluable management and organizational skills
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience with administration of IMS and system programming support
  • Strong knowledge in JCL and mainframe utilities in general
  • Advanced problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • English proficiency for meetings, documentation, and emails
Preferred Skills:
  • Solid understanding of IMS logs and how to interpret information using DFSERA10 or similar products
  • Solid understanding of IMS Performance monitoring and tuning
  • Solid knowledge in Assembler programming to support existing exits and user modifications
  • Solid knowledge in mainframe programming languages to support daily work
