Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience and a high level of English proficiency, with excellent communication skills (Spoken/Written).

This is an opportunity to work remotely from Latin America, collaborating with data analysts and business stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and models using Azure Databricks, Spark, Python, and SQL.

About the Role
  • Design and develop robust data pipelines and data models using Azure Databricks and related Azure data services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver high-performance solutions.
  • Benchmark data architecture to support ingestion, processing, and analytics workloads.
  • Implement best practices for data governance, security, and performance tuning in a cloud-native environment.
  • Work with structured and unstructured data from various sources including APIs, files, databases, and data lakes.
  • Develop reusable code and components for data processing and modeling workflows.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot jobs, ensuring data quality, reliability, and efficiency.
Your Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
  • Excellent English communication skills (Spoken/Written).
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and other Big Data technologies.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling (dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git).
  • Experience working in agile/scrum teams.
  • Good problem-solving, critical thinking, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work diligently and responsibly.
