**Leadership Opportunity**

Position Overview

The Hospice Nursing Director is responsible for the administrative and leadership functions associated with all operations of an Aveanna branch. This role requires ensuring compliance with Federal and State regulations governing Home Health Care Agencies and maintaining compliance with Aveanna's policies and procedures. The Director reports to the Governing Body and Area Vice President.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Team Management
  • Assure evaluation of each employee annually and establish goals for the upcoming year.
  • Interview and hire competent staff as needed and approved by supervisor.
  • Staff development including orientation, in-service education, and continuing education.
  • Assure appropriate staff supervision during all service hours.

Client Relations

  1. In collaboration with the Nursing Director, conduct intake interviews with new client families.
  2. Participate in weekly meetings to prepare for patients coming onto services.
  3. Supervise and evaluate client satisfaction survey reports.

Business Operations

  1. Plan and implement branch growth strategies.
  2. Review financial statements, activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement.
  3. Meet reporting deadlines.
  4. Ensure branch compliance with federal and state regulations.

Requirements

  1. Valid Driver's License and Acceptable MVR.
  2. Valid RN and CPR License in the state of application.
  3. 2-3 Years Hospice Management Experience Preferred.
