Cashier Assistant

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a skilled Casual Cashier to join their team at the Hillcrest store. As a key member of the sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.

• Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
• Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge, being able to answer customer questions and provide recommendations on products.
• Work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive store environment.
• Adhere to Dis-Chem's customer service policies and procedures, ensuring a world-class shopping experience for all customers.

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
• A minimum of 6 months' experience in a retail or cash handling environment.
• Computer literacy, with proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
