Business Process Automation Specialist

As a Senior Business Process Automation Engineer, your primary mission is to identify, design, and deploy intelligent automation solutions that eliminate manual work, accelerate our data analysis, and empower our teams to focus on high-value challenges in the blockchain intelligence landscape.

• You will discover and analyze business processes across departments, identifying opportunities for automation and process re-engineering.
• Architect, build, and maintain robust automation workflows using low-code platforms like n8n and Make, extending their capabilities with custom code when necessary.
• Develop complex integrations between our core systems and third-party applications, including Jira, Slack, Salesforce, HubSpot, Gong, Notion, Google Workspace, and BigQuery.
• Pioneer AI use in automations, building agentic workflows, leveraging LLMs for tasks like content summarization and data reconciliation, and implementing evaluation frameworks to measure model effectiveness.
• Serve as the platform owner for our AI and automation tech stack, working alongside Infrastructure teams to ensure reliability and performance, and enhancing user experience (UX) to empower other teams to build their own automations effectively.
• Champion stringent security standards in all automations, ensuring secure handling of sensitive data and implementing best practices for encryption, access control, and secure API usage with the security team.
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of automation projects from initial ideation and requirements gathering to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

• 5+ years of experience in process automation, software development, or a similar role with a strong portfolio of successfully deployed projects delivering measurable business value.
• Expert-level proficiency with an enterprise-grade low-code/no-code automation platform like n8n or Make. Know its limitations and understand best practices for implementation.
• Strong scripting and development skills in JavaScript (Node.js) and/or Python for custom logic, data transformation, and API interactions.
• Proficiency in software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices, comfortable using version control (Git) and understanding automated testing and CI/CD principles.
• Deep expertise in business process mapping, requirements gathering, and designing scalable workflow architectures.
• Demonstrated experience architecting complex API integrations and solving associated challenges.
• A security-first mindset with proven experience building systems handling sensitive data.
• Excellent communication skills, able to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively across teams.
• A proactive and autonomous work ethic, taking high-level goals and breaking them down into actionable steps to drive completion.
