Our team is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our dynamic operations.

Job Description

Mechanical Expertise:

  1. Pursue ongoing training programs to enhance technical knowledge and comprehensive service abilities.
  2. Develop plans for inventory management of spare parts.
  3. Prepare detailed summaries of machine quality issues and propose solutions.
  4. Support colleagues in completing on-site inventory checks for spare part warehouses.
  5. Familiarize yourself with safety policies and procedures.
  6. Install, repair, and maintain injection molding machinery, linear robots, hopper dryers, auto-loaders, chillers, and related software and control systems.
  7. Perform regular equipment safety inspections.
  8. Ensure adherence to established company procedures.
  9. Demonstrate equipment operation and provide customer training.
  10. Troubleshoot machine failures and performance issues by defining problems, collecting data, drawing conclusions, and performing root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  11. Document findings and actions.
  12. Procure replacement parts as needed and document worn parts requiring future replacement.
  13. Respond promptly to customer concerns via phone or onsite visits.
  14. Provide maintenance and operation recommendations or on-site services to customers.
  15. Prepare written reports on all service calls, documenting key contacts and machine workloads.
  16. Offer after-sales services and technical training to customers and agents, including equipment safety, operation, maintenance, plastic raw materials, and molding process training.
  17. Translate service files into local languages if necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Educational Background: College or bachelor degree in mechanical manufacturing, electric engineering, automation, or plastic materials, or equivalent.
  • Professional Experience: At least 2 years of service work or technical support experience in the injection molding machine industry or a related field.
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • Fluency in English
    • Ability to drive a car
    • Extensive knowledge in troubleshooting and repairing injection molding machines, covering controls, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
    • Proficiency in using computers, email systems, basic Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    • Understanding of mechanical drawings, electrical, and hydraulic schematics
